I am currently waiting to hear back from Baen or Aethon Books as well as searching for an agent. In the meantime, I am rewriting book two: The Bloody Diamond.

Bane still has around 955 submissions to review until they read mine (6-9 months) so I submitted my manuscript to Aethon Books as well.

Received edits and client letter from Elizabeth. My manuscript has never looked better. Definitely recommend and will use Elizabeth for any future manuscripts.

After editing the manuscript myself, I sent it to Elizabeth A. White for Comprehensive Editing which included both copy/line edits and developmental feedback.

My editor returned my manuscript with her comments and suggestions and wow! It was super helpful. You see, I've never actually taken a writing class before and this opened my eyes on how to polish my work. Highly recommend this site for any writers out there.

I submitted the first three chapters of my manuscript to Writers Digest for line editing. What is that? Well, as their site describes it, "A professional editor will comb through every line of your manuscript, looking for style issues, grammatical errors, storytelling inconsistencies, misspellings, and more."

My manuscript is rejected by DAW. It was a simple rejection letter but no worries, I already had a plan in mind.

I submitted my manuscript to DAW via their new online submission form.

December 27th, 2018

I mailed my manuscript to DAW and.... they lost it... yep, you heard me right. They lost my manuscript. They said they never received it 😭

August 26th, 2017

The rewrite of book one, The Power Within, is finished! I finished on August 26th, 2017 and I'll admit, it snuck up on me! One moment I writing chapter 20 and the next thing, I know, I've written the final chapter! 💗 It is 23 chapters long at 230 pages and I think it is a much better rendition of the story.

I have finished writing book two, The Bloody Diamond! I finished it on July 25th, 2015 and though the process had been slow since I entered college, it is now finished with 26 chapters at 234 pages. Thank you for all your patience! I really enjoyed writing it and look forward to see what will happen next! 😃

I finished writing book one, The Power Within, and it is as of right now, it is 26 chapters and is 272 pages. I finished it on February 11th, 2013. I was super excited when I finished book one that had been such a long journey. The hardest part of writing is starting and finishing book one definitely took its time. I had so much fun writing it and can't wait for others to be able to enjoy the story within my book's pages. 😁
