I got a twitter account... yep, you read that correctly. I'm on twitter! I read an article yesterday by Mindy McGinnis, an Edgar Award-winning novelist, about building my platform for my book and she highly recommend having a twitter. Why? Here's my take away. - Readers will be able to relate to you via twitter and if they can connect with you there, they will probably find that voice in your novels as well.
- It is a way of connecting with fellow authors and staying up to date with the writing community.
- Being established online, shows agents that you are willing to network and promote. Plus, it gives them a sense of who you are.
